Starry!! Live Showcase Guidelines

Thank you for showing interest in the Starry Live!! Showcase at Akaicon 2025! 

There will be 10-15 minutes built into the end of the festival to photograph all the performers.. Do not leave before this time, this is an important part of the festival which will be used to promote all of the performers. 

We will be in Main Events again this year, but time is TBD at the moment but it’ll be on Sunday before the Lip Sync contest. Two recent dances or lives must be submitted through the application. 

DA RULES:

    1. All members have to be 16+ to participate in the showcase.
    2. Be on time. All performers/groups must be there an hour before the panel begins. If everyone in your group is not present, you will not be performing.
    3. You must have a valid Akaicon badge to perform.
    4. If you are applying, please keep in mind that if you are applying with another group (i.e. two groups or more) or as a soloist but applying with a group, you are less likely to be accepted.
    5. There will only be one of each unit represented. We’ll be accepting based on the need for units.
    6. Be respectful of all staff, equipment, and performers. Pay attention to your surroundings and listen to announcements. Do not block the stage/performing area. If a performer is not respectful to staff or performers, there will be a warning. If a third warning occurs, you will be asked to leave the festival. This rule applies to performers inside and outside the festival. You are representing the idol community; treat others how you want to be treated.
    7. All performers are required to stay for the duration of the festival. If you have any scheduling conflicts, contact kirakiraidolfestival@gmail.com or one of the discord mods AT LEAST a week in advance. Any later, and accommodations will not be met.
    8. All audio and visuals are due two weeks before the performance. If your group is selected, you will be asked to send them on time. If not, you will not be performing (unless communicated otherwise).
    9. All setlists have a MAX of 8mins. This includes intro, transition, and outro times. Please be mindful of that time.
    10. You must have a full unit. Unless we don’t get enough applications, we will only be accepting full units at this time.
    11. All groups are required to cosplay and have some form of a matching unit outfit. It can be the original, 2nd unit, etc… but it MUST be an official unit outfit.
